By Jodi Truglio — August 20, 2020

Looking for some great products to kick the school year off, look no further than nügg’s line of products that are sure to pamper your skin and restore your natural glow.

NEW! Aqua Boost Spout Pouch

Its is no secret that I love using masks as part of my bi-weekly self-care ritual, since it represents a small moment in time that I reserve for myself.

I was first introduced to Aqua Boost during the beauty convention Cosmoprof last year and have been a fan ever since.

I really like how easy it is to apply and that you only need to leave it on for 10 minutes. The mask is a lightweight gel face mask that contains camellia seed oil, rosehip oil, and aloe juice which do wonders on dry skin by transforming it from dry to a soft dewy complexion.

Morning Glow Watermelon Sleeping Mask

Lately, my skin seems to be a little on the dry side with mild acne, so I wasn’t really sure how my skin would react to the Morning Glow Watermelon Sleeping Mask. What appealed to me is that it unscented. It contains watermelon extract and hyaluronic acid which are considered to be beneficial for the skin.

To be honest, I didn’t use this mask in the tradition way, I applied  a very thin layer of it as primer instead.

I have be using the mask a little over two weeks now and the results have been pretty dramatic. My skin has cleared up and looks smooth and refreshed.  Prior to using this product I was seeing a dermatologist for over the past two months and was starting to loose hope that my skin would ever clear up, since my doctor was prescribing me products I was unable to use because they weren’t vegan and contained harsh chemicals.

The biggest thing that I learned from my experience, is sometimes although it might be easier to go to a dermatologist, it is better to treat skin issues such as acne and eczema by using natural products when possible.

NEW! Coffee Fix Lip Scrub

I normally don’t use lip scrubs because I have found a lot of them don’t work and have found that using olive oil mixed with a little raw sugar tends to work just as well. However, with that been said I highly recommend purchasing this scrub. The Coffee and Berry smell so good, but let’s be completely serious for a moment. This product actual does what it claims it will. I have used it in the morning before I apply my lipstick and also use it at night on the days that I wear my liquid lipstick stain. It does an amazing job without dry out my lips.

Happy Lips – Cocoa Shine Lip Butter Balm

For some reason that I have yet to figure out I have developed an allergy to several vegan lip balms, so you can image how excited I was to try Happy Lips, which  truly lives up to its name. My lips were super happy after using it. One of the best things about this product is that you do not need a lot and it can also be worn under lipstick to create a smooth surface for lipstick, just blot lips prior to applying lipstick or it can be use over lipstick to add little shine to a matte color. I also wear it by itself, since it is extremely moisturizing.
