The deadline is approaching to get an advance registration discount for the 20th anniversary BSR Conference, “Fast Forward,” which will be held Oct. 23-26 at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City. The annual conference, considered one of the largest and most influential in the world, “brings together a global community of more than 1,000 leaders from business, civil society, and the public sector.” The goal of this year’s conference is to “provide the inspiration, networking, and practical learning to fast forward your progress toward a just and sustainable world.”
BSR (Business for Social Responsibility) recently added three speakers to their line-up for the conference. Leontino Balbo, Jr., EVP of the Brazil-based Native Organic Products, an organic food and beverage company; Tracy Palandjian, CEO and Co-founder of Social Finance, an organization whose mission is to “mobilize investment capital to drive social change by creating innovative financial instruments”; and David Arkless, President, Corporate and Government Affairs for Manpower Group. Arkless is well known as an expert on labor market trends, and has advised countries around the world as they develop market strategies.
These three join a wide array of scheduled speakers from business (including IKEA, Disney, and Dell) and the media (including Harvard Business Review, Le Monde, and Time Magazine), as well as environmental and human rights leaders.
