I have never been much of a snacker, but every once in a while I get in the mood for a sweet treat, which seems to happen especially durning the holiday season by temping my nose with all the amazing comforting aromas. However, the the common sense part of me says forget the cookies and go for something semi healthy and purse friendly.
One of the brands that I recently discovered and I am now a big fan of is Mighty Sesame Co., with that being said their product are incredibly hard to find which I hope changes in the future, since they have a really great line of Tahini products.
My favorite treats by Mighty Sesame Co. is their TahiniBars which is my new guilty pleasure, but in reality there is nothing to feel guilty about, since this bare is only 100 calories of yummy goodness.
Out of all the snack bars that I have tried this is a must have for me. Mighty Sesame Co. literally created a bar that is the best of both worlds by combining the creamy delicate flavor of Tahini and cocoa nibs. The bar is a classic twist that reminds me a bit of Halvah .
I never really knew how versatile Tahini is until I started writing this review. I love that the Tahini is in a squeeze bottle verses a jar which it makes it so much easier to use when preparing dishes such as humus or making salad dressings.
Below is a fun recipe that we think you might enjoy.
