In a rush and not sure what to prepare, let me introduce you to Loma Linda’s new meal solutions which can be prepared in about 60 seconds.
The meals come in a convenient package that are storage friendly meaning it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
Each meal in Loma Linda’s new line contains about 6-9 grams of plant-based protein and is free of Cholesterol, trans fat, and preservatives.
I recently had the pleasure of trying their Spicy Pad Thai, which was super easy to prepare. The directions say just tear off the corner and heat in the microwave for 60 seconds, let cool for a few minutes, and pour into a bowl. That’s it!
Additionally, if you don’t care for or have access to a microwave you can just pour the Pad Thai into a pot and heat it up over the stove or on a hot plate.
What I did differently, although it had some veggies, I added some corn and peas for color. For me personally, it was a bit too spicy, which I had expected, so I made it less spicy by adding some coconut cream.
My mother who is now just starting to shift back to a more plant-based diet (the holidays were her downfall) also tried the Spicy Pad Thai and thought the spice was just right and it tasted pretty good. What she liked most was how easy it was to prepare and there was little to clean up.
