Looking to give a great gift this holiday season, than check out our gift guide below of vegan products that you are sure to love as much as we do.
Snow Fox is a favorite skincare line of mine that my sensitive skin loves. The reason why I’ve had great results using this product is the minty natural plant based formula that was originally designed for hypersensitive skin and for those who suffer from issues such as redness, environmental irritation, oily T-zones, dry patches, and synthetic chemical allergies. I love how airy and refreshing the foam cleanser feels and the moisturizer is simply amazing and pairs really well under foundation without feeling oily, instead it soothes and calms redness.
Schique: Hydra Glisten- Revitalizing Mist
I first discovered Schique while attending Cosmoprof back in July and have been impressed with the company ever since. My favorite product in the line is the Hydra Glisten, which smells of fresh, crisp apples and comes in a pretty glass bottle that makes for an elegant gift that any girl will love. Hydra Glisten is a mist designed to refresh and brighten skin for an instant pick-me-up by increasing collagen activity, leading to firmer and tighter skin for a more youthful appearance. They also make one of my favorite masks that contain turmeric.
For The Lips
Arbonne: Rosé All Day To Night Lip Set
The Rosé All Day To Night Lip Set is a trio of dual-ended lip colors in blushing nudes, pinks and mauves that are really flattering on any skin tone. The best part is they are super moisturizing and will definitely add some sparkle to your lips. I really appreciate that Arbonne designed the lip set so the matte lip cream and gloss can be worn together or separately. You can even layer the shades to create your own personalized look.
Jane Iredale: Limited Edition Shimmer Lip Gloss Gift Set
The Limited Edition Shimmer Lip Gloss Gift Set, has some of the prettiest shades of high shine mini glosses for this season. Shades include Iced Mocha- shimmering bronze pink, Candied Rose- shimmering berry rose and Plum Punch- ishimmering red plum. I love the lemon fragrance that instantly puts just about anyone in a good mood. Puregloss is also a perfect choice to wear in the winter, since it contains organic oils and extracts making, it super hydrating and a perfect choice for anyone who has dry sensitive lips that wants to add a bint of natural color to their lips.
Cherry Blooms: Matte Lips Volumizer
Cherry Blooms makes one of my favorite must have shades of nude lip stains for fall/winter which also contains volumizing & long wear ingredients that are said to boost lip volume and stay on after 3 meals.
I found it interesting that you have to apply three layers of color in order for it to last all day and achieve the desired effect, which seemed like a lot of product to me, however with that being said, it did exactly as promised, by leaving my my lips very hydrated and the color lasted all day. I stress that you need to make sure each layer dries before you apply the next or your lips will feel tacky. I didn’t really notice my lips any bigger, but that is probably just because I already have pretty full lips. What I really like about this product besides the color is that it contains plant extracts and hyaluronic acid and also has textured powder fillers to smooth out fine lines on the lips which makes them look flawless.
Another thing I feel is worth mentioning, is that Cherry Blooms donations a portion of all matte volumizer to grassroots charities and street children in the Philippines.
Arbonne: Starlight Glow Palette
The Starlight Glow Palette is my must have palette for this winter season. If your skin tends to look a little dull during the winter or you are looking to add a little bit of subtle color to your cheeks, this is the product that you want to purchase. The palette had four very flattering, multi-purpose powders that can be used to highlight, blush, bronze, or contour by adding an array of warm to cool pigments and shape a starlit glow. Three of the colors are pearlescent powders to create a luxurious, protective finish that smooths and brightens skin’s appearance. This is also the perfect palette for anyone with sensitive skin, since it is non-comedogenic powder which creates a soft-focus finish. It can also be used as a highlighter that can be swept across the eyes, lips and cheeks.
Jane Iredale: Eye Shadow Kit
If you are looking for a fun, versatile eyeshadow kit for this season, Jane Iredale’s eyeshadow is the kit to buy. Each kit contains four silky smooth shadows that are formulated with minerals, botanical extracts and silica making them long-lasting, crease-free color. You can use it alone, layer or blend together for different looks. A really cool feature that makes this kit stand out from the rest is that it is packaged in a sleek mirrored rose gold compact, one side is a regular mirror the other side is magnified for flawless application.
Jane Iredale: Limited Edition Dream Luminizer Trio
This is a wonderful, trio of three pearlescent powders that create a luxurious, protective finish that smooths and brightens skin to give you that healthy dewy glow. It can also be used on the eyelids, under the brow bone, on the collar bone or on the lips.
Feather & Bone
If you plan to travel during the holiday season, than I highly recommend buying this product, your skin and luggage will thank you. Feather & Bone makes a travel friendly facial cleanser tablet that is comprised of three Ayurveda ingredients, Fuller’s Earth, Sandalwood and Starch therefore, making it perfect for sensitive fussy skin. It also comes individually packaged so there is no guess work on how much to use.
Vanity Planet: Blend Baby
I just started using Blend Baby “Unicorn Edition” which is a sponge that can be used wet or dry. Just simply apply liquid makeup to the silicone pad, then use the rounded sponge edges to blend with streak-free precision. I like the added sparkle to the silicone pad that makes it cheery. It is also really easy to clean.
Jane Iredale: Flourish Refillable Compact
This compact’s floral design is so pretty in person that the picture doesn’t do it justice. It reminds me of a vintage rose gold compact. This will make the perfect gift for anyone who uses Jane Iredale products. The only thing I didn’t care for is I would have preferred the compact to be metal not made of plastic, however with that being said, most compacts are not made of metal anymore and I appreciate that it is made of recyclable plastic. If the compact were made of metal it would feel much heavier and not ideal for a small purse that you would use for a night out.
Bath & Body
Arbonne: Olive Blossom & Eucalyptus Gift Set
I love the soft fragrance of this gift set, it is very light and a perfect choice for someone who is sensitive to fragrances. The Cleansing Body Polish in the set is designed to exfoliate and lather to remove dead skin cells, but is not harsh while the whipped body butter moisturizes with shea butter and coconut oil leaving your skin feeling silky soft.
Lush: Once Upon A Time Body Lotion
Once Upon A Time Body Lotion, is another one of my favorite lotions that I will definitely be stocking up on. This lotion is infused with fresh apples that will leave you soft and hydrated as it brightens dull winter skin. I also appreciate that it is coco butter free and great for anyone who suffers from dry skin.
Lush: Body Conditioner Buck’s Fizz
I love Lush’s body conditioners and this is yet another item that I will be purchasing multiple of. I enjoy the refreshing, uplifting citrusy fragrance of this body conditioner. This magic pot brightens your mood while rich, buttery ingredients such as almond oil, coconut oil and murumuru butter softens your skin and leave it silky soft with a light fragrance of pink grapefruit.
You can never go wrong with buying a bar or two of Lush soap. The creamy high quality bar speaks for itself. Lush soaps always smell amazing and make the perfect stocking stuffer or secret Santa gifts. My must try winter fragrances are: Golden Pear– smells like ripe pears with a hint of cinnamon, Saucy Snowcake– almond scented layered with pieces of juicy cranberries, and Christmas Rocker– a rocking horse shaped soap that is exfoliating and smells of fresh citrus.
Health 2 Humanity: Bars Of Hope
If you are looking for a gift that gives back Bars of Hope is a great choice. Each bar contains shea butter and natural oils that are invigorating. The best part is that with each purchase of soap the company helps improve the well-being of people all around the world by helping start their own businesses, educate their communities, and distribute hygiene products to areas of the world that are stricken by poverty and desperately need it.
Arbonne: Spiced Vanilla Chai Candle
Arbonne made one of the most enjoyable fragranced Chai candles I have had the pleasure of owning this season. What makes this artisan-crafted, clean burning candle stand out above the rest, it is hand-poured and made with a coconut wax blend that combines sweet cinnamon, baked vanilla, and spicy chai aromas. If you are looking for a hostess gift this is it.
Christy Robinson Designs
Christy makes beautifully thoughtful pieces of jewelry that never disappoint. Over the years I have purchased several custom necklaces for myself and as gifts. Each piece always looks lovely and are packaged well. Needless to say they stand out for all the right reasons. What is unique and special about Christy’s jewelry is they are conversation pieces. This season I am all about her Minimalist Gemstone Wire Earrings, that look stunning with any outfit by adding just a little bit of sparkle.
Planet Love Life
Founded by Rob and Brittany Webster, Planet Love Life are dedicated to marine conservation. The company uses 100 percent of their profits from the sales of their marine debris awareness products (bracelets, necklaces and keychains) to pay for cleanup supplies and organizing future cleanup projects throughout the United States and around the world.
I recently purchased a necklace and bracelet from this company and was very pleased with my items, what surprised me the most and put things in perspective is how hazardous materials such as ropes and nets are to marine life.
YUMEARTH was founded with kids in mind and the desire to create healthy treats that contain real juices. This season YumEarth does not disappoint with their holiday sweets. Instead of their usual fruit shapes, their Christmas gummy’s are shaped like little gifts that are strawberry, peach and cherry flavored. They also have peppermint lollipops and candy canes that are perfect to flavor tea or crush up and sprinkle on top of hot cocoa.
If you are looking for a sweet treat for a stocking stuffer, Secret Santa or Hanukkah gift that contains little to no sugar and is actually healthy for you, than you are sure to love my top picks for this season.
The simple way to describe Ice Chips are, addictive, they taste so good you would never know they are actually healthy for you in moderation. My favorite flavors are in the holiday pack, which I highly recommend trying.
The Holiday Pack includes Six Full-Size tins which are as follows:
Cranberry- flavor is spot on and has the perfect amount of tart and tang making it satisfying.
Egg Nog- this is a fun holiday flavor that tastes exactly like the real thing.
Pumpkin Spice Ice Chips®- you know it is fall when you see the pumpkin spice Ice Chips. The tin fits perfectly in a purse and satisfies that pumpkin spice craving we all get during the holidays, but without the add calories.
Ice Chips wes created by two sassy grandmas, Bev Vines-Haines and Charlotte Clary from Washington who have known one another since 1986. Since it’s conception, Ice Chips has grown substantially over the years, which resulted in the grandmas appearing on an episode of the hit show Shark Tank in 2012. The show gives entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their products in hopes to gain investors( the Sharks) The grandmas successfully achieved this by getting a deal from Barbara Corcoran and Mark Cuban, but never finished the deal because when the show aired they ending up getting more money from sales as a result of the exposure, in the end they didn’t need to give up equity.
FTLA Apparel is an abbreviation of “For The Love of Animals Apparel”. The brand was created out of a passion for animals and love for the environment. FTLA Apparel is a lifestyle brand that has fashionable pieces of clothing that can be worn casually or dressed up for a night out. I admire and respect that all of their clothing are made by manufacturers that adhere to strict processes, procedures, practices and are committed to being cruelty-free, Sustainable, use eco-friendly and use organic fabrics etc. They also have various charitable collections that they support by raising awareness and donating a portion of the proceeds of their sales. FTLA Apparel is currently partnering with Eden Reforestation Projects to donate 10 Trees Per Order.
Every season, I promise myself I’m going to place an order from this company and I never get around to it, so this year I ended up putting it on my Christmas list of clothing I would like.
Gretchen Christine Handbags
Jami by Gretchen Christine is my top pick for the must have tote this winter. This stunning bag, is an embroidered convertible tote with delicate flowers on the outside and on the inside it is lined with a luxurious, soft, durable maroon Microsuede, and features internal pockets and a removable inside pouch. The magnetic snap closure and matching Vegan Leather Tassel completes the look. Jami is that kind of purse that makes the perfect accessory to any outfit and is bound to add a little bit of Christmas magic to your holiday.
Save a tree and show the how much you respect the environment, by purchasing a few of Lush’s tree-free Knot-Wraps to wrap your gifts in.
Based on the Japanese tradition of Furoshiki, Knot-Wraps are made from organic cotton or two recycled plastic bottles. They are simple to use, no need to worry about scotch tape or getting a horrible paper cut. Best of all they have a verity of uses beyond making your gifts stand out. Once you open your package you can reuse the wrap as a scarf, accessory or tote etc. Last season, received one around Valentines Day, instead of buying a large painting to fill a large space on my wall I thumbtacked the Knot-wrap to the wall for some color.
