Discovering The Best Of Arbonne

By Jodi Truglio — August 09, 2017

I have to confess up until last year I wasn’t too familiar with the cosmetic company Arbonne until a year ago when I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people behind the brand.

Founded in Switzerland in 1975, Petter Mørck, with a group of leading biochemists, biologists and herbalists created Arbonne skin care products which are based on botanical principles. The company came to the United States in the 1980’s and are now shared throughout the world by a growing network of Arbonne Independent Consultants.

Below is a review of some of our favorite products.

NEW! RE9 Advanced Cellular Renewal Mask

Arbonne’s RE9 Advanced Cellular Renewal Mask is like a hug for irritated skin. I am a huge fan of using masks because they are a great way to pamper your skin and settle down after a long day and have a little me time. This mask does not disappoint. I started using RE9 Advanced Cellular Renewal Mask when my skin was broken out due to a reaction. The mask is packed with botanical exfoliants such as pineapple and papaya enzymes that work together to gently remove dead skin cells to minimize the look of pores. It is a nice creamy consistency that is not heavy and only needs to be left on for about 7 minutes. I saw the results almost immediately because it calmed my skin by reducing the redness and irritation. I prefer  to use it at least once a week since it brings the natural glow back to my skin by making it look nice and refreshed. Since I started using it, I find I go more days wearing a light powder than a heavy foundation.

Rescue & Renew Detox Body Lotion

This is probably one of the best lotions I’ve used in quite sometime with the most honest results. Rescue & Renew Detox Body Lotion is the answer to tired looking skin because of its creamy light weight consistency is super moisturizing. The lotion contains organic ingredients such as shea butter and detoxing dandelion. Although you can use the it everyday to see some amazing results. I recommend using it during the seasons your skin is at its driest.

Smoothed Over Lipstick – Rose

I’ve never tried an Arbonne lipstick that I didn’t like since the shades have the everyday woman in mind. The company did a beautiful job creating classic colors that are workable with every skin tone. The color I have been wearing a lot lately is “Rose” which is a really pretty soft mauve with a subtle vanilla fragrance. I found the lipstick to feel more like a luxurious lip balm because it was very hydrating and soothing on my chronically dry lips. The color is also long wearing, I only had to touch it up once throughout the day. The company really knows the special formula for making a high quality product that works.

Hyaluronic acid helps provide long-lasting hydration by distributing a moisturizing layer on the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Peptides add moisture and visibly increase the look of lip volume

Polymers provide a moisturizing hydro-lipid layer that helps color pigments disperse evenly for longer wear

A naturally derived complex of watermelon
(Citrullus lanatus)fruit extract, lentil (Lens esculenta)fruit extract, and apple (Pyrus malus)extract helps provide immediate, long-term moisture while imparting a plumping effect to give the appearance of full, lush lips

Leontopodium alpinum extract from the edelweiss plant soothes dehydrated lips with moisturizing

Glossed Over Lip Gloss, Hazel

For me, glosses are hit or miss because the one thing that turns me off the most is when it has a tacky  feel. What I like about Glossed Over Lip Gloss   was designed for maximum shine and long wear. I’m really enjoying the gloss in “Hazel” which is a natural Terra cotta that is very versatile and can be worn day or night. The gloss pampers lips with its plant infused extracts that provide major softness for dry lips. I like the soft brush applicator that evenly applies the gloss with no effort at all. Although I naturally have pretty full lips I appreciate that it contains peptides which naturally plump lips, but in my case gave them nice definition without needing to use a liner. Sometimes all you need is just a little gloss to make your smile shine and this one is definitely a keeper.
