If you are tired of your current protein powders or daily smoothie below is our review of some products that we recently tested that are sure to satisfy your thirst this summer. Please note that all products featured are vegan.

Leap Organic Smoothies

I was so grateful to receive Leap right before my wrist surgery. I survived the first few days of my recovery while I was in a splint and wasn’t really able to cook. Out of the four smoothie and mixes on the list this one is my favorite because it is simple to prepare. It is yummy fruit smoothie and vegetables with no added sugar. The product can be used in multiple ways, but I found the simplest to be the best for example, for the smoothie bowl, all I added to it was Forager Project yogurt and topped with some pumpkin seeds and fresh strawberries or whatever fruit is in season and you’ll have the perfect satisfying breakfast.

Leap supporter, 1% for the Planet, a charitable network of businesses and have already donated $130 million to different nonprofit organizations dedicated to protecting the environment. The company has reduced its carbon footprint by having an organic and vegan certification and plans to source 100 percent food grade and recyclable packaging in the foreseeable future.

Vegan Smart

One of the biggest reasons I am not a fan of protein smoothie powders is because the companies producing the powders seem to include everything but the kitchen sink. Which is perfect for anyone who is on the go and needs a fast meal that involves little to no effort in preparation. Own the other hand the question that arises is does the protein supplement really need to include all those ingredients to be healthy? Since everyones body responses differently, what works well for one person may not work for another. Plus if you are on any kind of medicine you really need to do the research and make sure none of the Ingredients will interact with your medications.

With all that being said what most impressed about Vegan Smart me was the ingredients in this protein smoothie powder because the company really did its homework, finding the best ingredients that support a healthy immune system and reduce inflammation. I really enjoyed the taste of Wild Berry which I found to be subtle and not overpowered by stevia and perfect to have in the morning when I am on my why out and don’t have time to prepare breakfast.

Orgain

Vanilla Bean protein meal supplement comes in a bottle and is also great for people on the go. For that reason this was my go to drink when I am out running errands or attending a convention because it is very filling and portable enough to fit in a bag or medium purse. What I really appreciate about Orgain is that the protein meal supplement is organic, non-gmo is perfect for people with food allergies since it is gluten-free and contains minimal ingredients. It is also sugar free and uses stevia as a sweetener instead of sugar.

Arbonne: Vanilla Protein Shake Mix (Powder)

I really enjoyed trying Abronne’s Vanilla Protein Shake because it perfectly complemented the fresh fruits and vegetables that I like to add to my shakes without leaving a horribly overwhelming stevia taste. I love to drink this shake in the morning because it gives me a really nice energy boost and maintains my blood sugar levels until my next meal. This is also my go to shake. I carry a packet in my bag because I know it has me covered when I don’t have time to eat. What I normally do because I have food allergies, I have a store such as Whole Food’s make a smoothie or juice and have them blend in the Arbonne Vanilla Protein. The Vanilla Protein Shake provides 20 grams of vegan protein from pea, rice and cranberry that is easily digestible and provides essential amino acids plus more than 20 essential vitamins and minerals per serving.
