Just Spices Review

I am happy to have discovered the German company Just Spices which provides quality organic herbs and spices for an affordable price. Just Spices prides itself on guaranteeing that ingredients are intricately cultivated and meet the highest, freshest standards. The company is able to do this because all their suppliers are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 with integrated HACCP sanitation systems. You will also notice that boxes are made mostly of paperboard, and composed of aluminum on the inside because they find that spices stay fresher that way.

 

Vegetable broth

The Vegetable broth is a simple and easy way to make a tasty savory broth with a little kick in just a few minutes and the flavor can be easily adjusted. I really enjoyed the unique flavor of the Vegetable Broth Seasoning that uses organic ingredients such as fresh herbs like lovage leaves, chopped parsley, crispy onions, exotic nutmeg, soft celery seeds, crushed sea salt, and wild garlic, tomatoes and ripe carrots. The seasoning makes the perfect broth, but also serves as a great kitchen staple because it can be used in multiple ways for example it is the prefect seasoning to add to roasted vegetable with just a little olive oil.

 

Pizza Seasoning

Okay so I admit, I didn’t have time to actually try the Pizza Seasoning on pizza because it was used up so fast by my father who loved the smell, but who wouldn’t love the smell of this seasoning with ingredients such as oregano, basil, marjoram, chopped onions, and garlic. He used it to make vegan garlic bread, on pasta and added it to the sauce he was making. The Pizza Seasoning can be used for many different dishes and is great for anyone who loves Italian food.

 

Texas BBQ Dip

Out of the three seasonings that I tried the Texas BQQ Dip was my favorite when it came to flavor.      Don’t let the name fool you no meat necessary, this multipurpose seasoning holds its own because it is packed with flavor and compliments tofu, pasta, veggies and salad perfectly. My favorite way to use it was making a tofu scramble I just heated a frying pan with a 1tsp of coconut oil, added 1 tablespoon of seasoning to 10oz crumbled tofu with 1/2tsp turmeric and 1/4 cup nutritional yeast and topped with chives
