Moroccan Heritage Review

By Jodi Truglio — April 21, 2016

Moroccan Heritage™ was founded by Hicham Elgrini, a native Moroccan, who envisioned a beauty and skin care line that was inspired by natural Moroccan traditions, and was created from sustainable, 100 percent natural ingredients used in Moroccan beauty rituals for centuries.

“Moroccans have always been in touch with Nature and its resources, learning how to use natural ingredients to maintain and preserve skin and hair’s natural beauty. This passion for healthy living and natural beauty is the drive behind our mission to bring our Moroccan knowledge to the forefront of the beauty and skin care world, and serve as advocates for all natural and organic Moroccan beauty products.”

My favorite Moroccan Heritage product in their line is the Organic Barbary Fig Seed Oilimage. Although I only used the oil for a few days because the bottles I received were defective.

I love how light and super moisturizing the oil is. I have naturally curly hair and found it added just a enough moisture in my hair that left it soft and not greasy or frizzy. This is also a great product to use when you flat iron your hair since it will protect it from the heat. The oil also works as a great moisturizer to wear under makeup. My only complaint is although I love the product line, I had an issue with two of the bottles that I received being defective and leaking which is a shame because I really enjoy using the products in this line and find that their Argon Oil is one of the best qualities.

About Barbary Fig Seed Oil (also known as Prickly Pear Seed Oil, or Cactus Oil) is a natural moisturizer that is up to 10 times more powerful than Argan oil and has a high concentration of vitamin E.
