Red Apple Lipstick

Red Apple lipstick is a must have if you want a good quality long lasting vegan lipstick. “Swoon” and “New York ” are my go to shades that can be worn whenever I want a little bit of understated color.

The lipstick goes on smooth, doesn’t feather and lasts most of the day with hardly any touch ups needed. Red Apple Lipstick makes is gluten free and doesn’t contain any gross synthetic ingredients.

What is also nice about this company is although they have grown by adding new products to their line they still produce a high quality product and stays true to who they are.

LadyBug Jane

Ladybug Jane is the only brand of lip balm that I wear everyday under my lipstick. What makes this balm unique and better than most balms on the market is the highest quality organic, vegan ingredients that are child friendly with a sophisticated adult twist. The balm is made in the U.S. and also nut and gluten free.

When you apply this balm one of the first things you will notice is that The nice thing is that it goes on smooth, not tacky and absorbs into lips leaving them moist without the oily residue. When the balm is applied under your favorite lip color it will actually extend the life of the color and smooth out any rough spots.

Another cool thing about this balm is although it is marketed as a lip balm it is really a multi-purpose product that works great on dry cuticles and dry skin. You can also use balm flavors such as mint or lavender as a form of aromatherapy if you wish. I like using the mint balm under my nose and on my temples.

For The Face:

MuLondon

If you are looking for a great high quality natural vegan moisturizer than Organic Rose, Rose hip & Rosemary is the product for you. I had my mother try this product because I found out the hard way, unfortunately coconut oil causes my skin to break out.

After using the product for about a month it improved the general appearance of her skin tone and texture. Besides its many benefits a little goes a really long way and it is a perfect compliment for those of us who wear a powder foundation.

For The Body:

Buffy(Lush)

I first discovered Lush’s body butters over Christmas when I sampled one of their limited edition body butter bars. I had to be honest in the past I’ve held off trying it, not sure what to expect or if it would actually exfoliate and also moisturize my skin.

I don’t know why I waited so long because it’s a great product that does exactly what it says it does. It gently exfoliated my skin and left it moisturized and silky soft. Even with the chilly weather there was really no need to add an additional body cream.

From Dust ‘TlL Dawn (Lush)

Valentines Day wouldn’t be the same without one of Lush’s massage bars. The smell of this bar(cone) is a heavenly blend of uplifting and invigorating perfume of Sicilian lemon and sweet wild orange oil. That works great as a massage bar an after shower moisturizer when placed on your pulse points becomes a subtle fragrance.

Wakami Jewelry

If you are looking for a really nice gift to purchase for yourself, a friend or someone you love why not purchase a piece of sustainable jewelry? The Earth 7piece bracelet set is one of my favorite that I wear often because it fits my tiny wrist and goes with just about everything and makes a perfect conversation piece.

What I like is this set is made really well, stands out and catches the light beautifully. According to Wakami’s website the set of bracelets tells a story of the creation of the earth and each bracelet has its own unique meaning to correspond with the story. Looking head, this is also perfect for Earth Day.
